EXHIBITION & BOOK PUBLISHING: All works will be exhibited indefinitely on the Artists for Climate Change website along with the artwork's title, artist's name, and website. We are planning a local exhibition in San Juan, Puerto Rico at a museum or cultural center and plan on taking the exhibition to other parts of the world to continue raising awareness of the dangers of climate change. A selection of the best artworks received will be part of the print project: #Notfakenews: Artists for Climate Change. AGREEMENT: All artists agree that their artworks will not be returned. All participants agree that their work may be exhibited in Puerto Rico or any other gallery, museum, or cultural center in the world. Artists agree that their work may along with the exhibitions may be donated to a museum or sold at auction. Artists agree that their work may be included in a full color book to be distributed freely and/or sold at bookstores or other retailers. Proceedings from any artwork or book sales may be used in part or entirely to help victims of natural disasters worldwide. Deadline: December 31, 2018 Instructions: 1) Send artwork by mail (remember to sign, date and title your piece) to: Artists for Climate Change Po Box 16663 San Juan, PR 00908 2) Submit a digital copy of your work and personal information to: [email protected]. This will serve as a digital catalog of mailed pieces. But remember, we need your piece sent by mail. |
BOOK PROJECTA selection of the best artworks will be photographed and included in a full color hardcopy book titled #Not Fake News: Climate Change is Real to be mailed to President Donald Trump and be part of the White House art collection (see note below).

ON MAILING THE BOOK TO MR. DONALD TRUMPThe Law 44 U.S.C. Chapter 22 states that The United States shall reserve and retain complete ownership, possession, and control of Presidential records (defined as “documentary materials…created or received by the President”). The records may not be destroyed or disposed up unless they are deemed to “no longer have administrative, historical, informational, or evidentiary value” but only if “the President obtains the views, in writing, of the Archivist concerning the proposed disposal of such Presidential records.” Therefore, we are confident that the book will be received and archived in the United States National Archive.
